Energy is a precious commodity and with the help of many energy efficient products and tips we can reduce the loss of energy, reduce the cost of energy, and become more green.
Some ways to reduce energy is switch to energy efficient appliances, change to energy efficient light bulbs, implement energy solutions to reduce or increase heat naturally, time management, use natural gas, and modify electricity usage.

Renewable Energy
Reducing energy and though the use of energy efficient products is effective, but we need to start thinking in terms of renewable energy.
What is renewable energy? They are energy sources that we currently have available to us, but not greatly used. These sources include, but are not limited to wood and wood waste, landfill gasses and biogases, ethanol, biodiesel, hydro power, geothermal, wind and solar.
According to the Energy Information Administration it was up to the mid 1800s that wood supplied nearly all of the nation’s energy needs, that’s when consumers began using other resources that would deplete and take much longer to regenerate. The article further stated that in 2016 that approximately 10% of the total US energy consumption was from renewable energy. As out education on the long term effects of other sources (non renewable) form of energy would eventually run out, that is when consumers had to start returning to previous sources that were plentiful and renewable.
By using renewable energy this reduces the greenhouse effect. It is about change in our lifestyle, way of thinking, and the way we use those renewable resources on this earth to sustain. Change is not and easy and our mindset has to be changed to a different way of thinking in terms of our planet, the way we live and use energy in our daily lives.
Our children are going to have to live by the decisions we make today. Let’s make it a better place for them.
