Holiday Gifts and Items – Reuse or re gift those unwanted items.
The gift of giving for birthdays, holidays, special occasions, and just because are always thoughtful, but what about the gifts that are given and accepted out of politeness? We all have received that one gift that while we are smiling on the outside on the inside we are thinking “Wow, and what I am going to do with this?” The idea of reusing or re-gifting is almost taboo, but is often done. So what are some ways to reuse these gifts of love? Here are some ideas:
- Give away to someone of need. The gift of giving is priceless.
- Wrap up and give to someone else as a gift. This will save you money and make the recipient happy.
- Donate the gift to charity or auction.Find a way to reuse the gift in another form.
Holiday decor can easily be stored for next years use. If you are tired of your decor, do a decor swap with friends and family. Modify your decor pieces by adding more to them or taking away something from the item.
